What is this App in general?
Our App is a cloud-based software application primarily meant for residential or
commercial societies/apartments who are looking to automate manual processes of
billing, accounting, engagement, MIS etc. or move from an excel-based system to a
full-fledged automated system.
Who can use the App?
Our App can be adopted by any residential or commercial society or apartment in
India to smartly manage society related affairs and can be used by the managing
team and or members of the society. MIS etc. or move from an excel-based system to a
full-fledged automated system.
Is our data safe with you?
Your data is absolutely safe with us till the time you don’t share your credentials with
an unknown person. The app is hosted on Google and Amazon’s cloud infrastructure
and works on TLS/SSL – the first step towards a secure website. Further the app
uses token-based authentication to considerably limit illegal access only in case of
credential theft. Users who are registered on the app must be a member of the
society and the ownership of granting access to users lies with the managing
committee’s approval.
We already use a software for managing society accounts, how can I migrate to Alpha Omega?
We appreciate you evaluating us as your partner in your journey towards a smart
society. Don’t worry about migrating the data you have today. Whether it is available
in physical copies or on some other software we can take care of it as long as you
provide it to us. We charge you a small sum of money if data migration is going to be
completely manual. One more option is that you provide us the data exactly in a
specified Excel format and we will import all the data for free. Also in case of a
massive data and records over a considerable span of time, we may bill you a small
creation fees.
Will we need an accountant or a manager to operate the software?
We leave this on you. There are different types of services in our package including
Manager as well excluding Managers. Thus, it all depends on the package selected
by you. But our software is user friendly and in other terms a layman’s software, it is
that simple. A simple training would ease the scope of an error by a layman who is
not familiar with accounts.
How can we get trained to use the software?
Trust us you don’t need anything like a classroom training or lengthy video tutorials
to learn it. And that is because the product is self-explanatory, if you know what you
need to do. However, there are certain nuances that comes with every product and
for that we have resources that you can refer to, once you log in. Moreover, we
continue to enhance the coverage of all such resources based on feedback from
users like you.
Can I use the software on my smartphone?
The short answer is YES. There are two ways you can use the app on your phone. If
you have an android phone, we have an app that’s native. But the app also works
smoothly on mobile browsers if you don’t wish to overload your phone with one more
app! iPhone users need to always use their favorite browser to access the app.
Is the software only supported on Android phones?
If you mean natively, then yes, we currently only support Android OS. But that
doesn’t stop iOS users from using the app. Our web version is mobile responsive
and works charmingly well on mobile browsers too.
We have been using AO Software and we like it but still want to try another software, will we get the data entered on AO Software?
Of course, in the end its your data. We will dedicate special time and attention to
give you back your data in nicely formatted PDF documents.
How frequently are new features added? Will we need to pay to use features released post subscription?
We are continuously adding new features to the app and have “Upcoming features” to the right column of the page. As long as it is not indicated explicitly, everything that’s upcoming is going to be free as an upgrade/enhancement for an existing subscriber.
